Intermedialities (or the book as an interactive object)

This workshop interrogates the possibilities offered by the materiality of the book in a digital era. It offers an opportunity for the participants to experiment with the object, manipulating its physical qualities to explore and challenge the conventions of the reading experience and create a tangible and interactive process. Through creative experimentation, the workshop opens a space to reflect about the book and the relations established between writer and reader, reading experience and object, and analogue and digital forms. It is a space to create new experiences and new ways of telling stories.
